Texas Lawmakers Learn About Water Conservation

Resource Action Programs was one of more than a dozen agencies featured at the Texas Water Conservation Day held at the state capitol in Austin. The event showcased water conservation education efforts in the state of Texas.

“It was a great opportunity for legislators, their aides, and natural resource committee staff members to see some of the water conservation education programs currently on-going within the state,” said Carmon McCain, High Plains Underground Water Conservation District’s Information/Education Supervisor.
