I am sure you have heard of endangered species, but what about endangered vacations? Here is a list of U.S. vacation spots that I found on Yahoo that you might want to take some time and visit before they no longer exist. Each of the vacation spots listed landscape is being threatened in some way by an environmental hazard.

According to Treehugger.com, construction for a high speed rail system is soon to begin in ten corridors across the U.S. If you have ever taken the high speed rail system in Europe, you would realize the great benefits that this rail system can offer the country. I have always thought, if water is so good for us, if it was so perfect the way it is (which is what water companies try to market to us), then why do we continue to find ways to “improve” it? Why do we have to bottle it? If it comes from the Rocky Mountains, or a natural Spring, what else needs to be done to it (rhetorical question…)? I have always thought that was a major flaw in advertising. Read more…
