Valuable Stuff

By Joe R on January 25th, 2010

So, I just moved from California to Nevada and brought all my stuff with me.  Makes sense, right?  I mean, it’s my stuff.

I brought all my stuff.  Stuff I haven’t used in years.  Stuff I need and use everyday.  Stuff that I used to use and may use again tomorrow.  And some of the stuff I couldn’t figure out if I needed so I decided to pack and decide later.  Well, later has arrived. Read more…

What do you wear to keep the cold at bay?

By Katrina on December 7th, 2009

As winter has fallen upon us, we wanted to hear your tips and tricks to staying warm and what you find yourself wearing (or doing) to keep yourself from creeping up that thermostat! Is it fuzzy slippers, scarfs or gloves? Or your old ugly sweaters and sweatshirts (that you get each year for Christmas)? Do you use layers to keep you warm? Maybe it is keeping a warm cup of hot coco or tea close to warm yourselves from the inside out, or cozying in a big blanket. Heck, who knows, you could be one of the guitly who own the As Seen on TV’s “Snuggy”!!! What ever it is, we would love to hear!

I’m a sucker for my flannel PJ’s and slippers, and warm drinks. But my favorite (and probably most efficient) way to stay warm is snuggling up with a nice blanket and our cats. They throw off so much heat they are always enough to keep me warm and the cold at bay.

So what do you do? What are secrets for staying warm in these chilly months? Let us know or send us some pictures. We’ll post a few of the best ones.
