In January, San Jose, Ca installed the first electric vehicle chargepoints on E. Santa Clara St, and on S. 4th Street. It’s very exciting to see innovation actually making it to major metropolitan areas. It’s been talked about for years, but to see it finally being implemented is a huge step!
Coulomb Technologies recently installed the first charging station in San Jose, California. Their Chargepoint features an ingenious design that is easily connected to an existing streetlamp and provides access to the municipal energy grid. Read more…

Everyone has their favorite car. There is always one car that you dream of having, no matter how realistic or unrealistic the car might be. For me, I have always wanted a Mini Cooper. I have wanted a Mini Cooper since the release in the ’60s (although I was not yet born when the first model was released, let alone of driving age, my point is my desire didn’t start with the hit movie ‘Italian Job’ when Mini Coopers became “cool”).
