With all the talk about global warming and the growing demand for energy, green-collar jobs are on the rise. Seems as if everyone nowadays needs efficiency experts. Even our government is attempting to reduce our unemployment rate with environmentally conscious jobs. Obama announced $2.3 billion in tax credits that he said would create some 17,000 “green” jobs. The money will go to projects including solar, wind and energy management, according to ABC News. With more companies feeling the increasing pressure to be Earth-conscious comes the opportunity to earn a paycheck and save the planet.
